About
Hello! I’m a singer songwriter with a lot on my heart to share! This is my personal site that showcases my music but also is my personal blog where I write about my life while at the Leadership Academy of Abundant Life Church. (Read here about my decision to enroll.)
My aim is to be real with you about what I’m discovering about God, music, and songwriting — with some personal life lessons thrown in.
Readers of this site tend to consist mostly of musicians, songwriters, and those who have shared some part of my life journey, whether from my home in Ontario, Canada or my current city of Bradford, England.

Bio
I love to play the piano, sing and write songs. Like most people, I just don’t like fitting into boxes, and I’ve never felt myself fitting squarely into just one of the above categories.
Music started young...
I started piano lessons at age 7, started dabbling in songwriting at age 12 and joined my first band as piano player in my church at age 15, where I continued to play for the following twelve years.
I didn’t started singing original music on a stage until after I graduated from university. After one of my songs was recorded on a worship leaders’ album, I was open to the idea of recording an album of my own songs. It was then in 2005 that I released my CD "Looking for Sanctuary.”
For the following years, I grew in leaps in bounds as I performed in churches, fundraisers, restaurants and local shows whether solo or with a band. I continued to play keys, piano, and background vocal in my home church, singing songs of worship to God — the type of songs I love the most.
Car Accident!
In 2007, I had a serious car accident that left me with a broken wrist and collarbone. It was a difficult time, but it launched me into more spiritually reflective songs. (ie: "Temporary Life")
While recovering, I decided to record 5 more recent tunes and released a self-titled ep. I absolutely loved this process of taking song ideas to fruition — with the help of brilliant musicians, of course!
What about now?
I strive to become the best singer songwriter I can be. I’m trying to write one song a week for the next 10 months, and I blog regularly to keep up the creative expression.
When the time is right, one day, I’ll release another album, I hope!
Until then, I’m learning a lot in the Worship elective in the Leadership Academy. I’m having a blast listening to great leaders and musicians, learning a lot about myself, God, worship, and of course music!
